Power of One: Preventing Suicide in America is a feature documentary and outreach effort that shares the stories of people at the forefront of preventing suicide — advocates, surviving friends and family, and those who pivoted from the brink, woven with insights by doctors, experts and public officials — to show how we are all connected, not only by the tragedy of suicide, but by the reverberations one person can make along the pathways of prevention.
Our Goal: Create an engaging, insightful and responsible documentary to be utilized a a vehicle for discussion to talk to Americans about suicide and suicide prevention.
Our Approach: Produce a powerful, story-driven narrative to explore the arch of risk and prevention of suicide throughout the lifespan of an American with in-depth focus on populations most at-risk.

Power of One is produced, written and directed by Alivia Tagliaferri, a documentary filmmaker, author, playwright and advocate. This is her third documentary.
